Well, it seems as tho it’s been a while since posting has been going on here. That’s due to so many non-stop weekends of weddings and having the main goal be editing and getting photos to all my couples. The website could wait, but to make all these loving hearts wait, no way!
Anyway, editing is caught up and now… Now it’s time to keep the awesome rolling and there’s plenty of awesome coming down this way with some other huge news on the horizon too! Just wait!!! But for now, let’s do this already!
It’s like the edge of the world, at least how they used to think of the end of the world. Walking to the edge, it’s straight down into the crashing waves. The end of the world, the end of the universe, go beyond the point and you will no longer exist.
With that though, with that danger, that extreme, the danger. So much beauty. The depths of blue that are in the ocean below and beyond. The seagulls gliding above as they look below. The sounds, the smells. All these things, all of these beautifully magic things come with only one thing. And that’s the coast of Maine. So many of us have a tie to the water, the oceans, the lakes the rivers. For those that have been able to travel and experience all that wonderfulness. You will understand how I say it comes with only the coast of Maine. For those of you that don’t get it, well…. Each coastline, each region, each stretch of coast is vastly different. The coast of Maine with it’s jagged cliffs, different than the coast of the Northwest that rolls over the edge in a certain lushness. Further north, and the Maine coast is more rock less cliff. Head south and you’ll begin to find rock that stretches out into the ocean instead of falling down and in. And beyond that, move south and you discover new beaches and marshes and more….
Anyway, that’s neither here nor there, what I was really getting at is this…. This place… This beautiful magical place, oh what a place for this wonderful wedding of Sarah and Stu. Their day, warm, bright and sunny. A steady breeze and the scent of salt in the air. Other than a few delays (what wedding doesn’t have those?) the day was impeccably perfect…
