Tyson – nope / Calli – not getting overly excited and getting into my dress too early. It literally was the only thing that went “wrong” all day.” And really, it wasn’t “wrong” at all because Rachel was there to cover what was going on so really, as a photographer, while I did cry a little because I missed some of that moment, it was all okay. haha….
That is a good way to sum up there day though, nothing went wrong because these two were there for the same reason. Love… And when you love each other, you can work through anything and you know that the future holds such great possibility!
So… The day goes something like this, pull up at Avon Old Farms Inn, jump out of the car, unpack gear and start to head inside trying not to lose a finger to frostbite. Somehow Tyson is not effected by the cold at all. Still trying to figure that one out. haha. Up to Calli’s room where she’s all laughs and giggles and so elated for her day. And her day that finally arrived because of a proposal which had her in giggles just as much, those giggles just ended with a “YES” where these ones ended with an “ABSOLUTELY!”
“It was a day of swapped roles. Calli drove to Dennisport instead of Tyson. Tyson took pictures along the way instead of Calli. Tyson asked to go to the beach instead of Calli. Calli didn’t follow directions instead of Tyson. Tyson said, “Would you please just look at me?!” instead of Calli saying that to a usually distracted Tyson… Calli turned around to Tyson on one knee and instead of crying, laughter ensued along with smiles and saying, “Yes!”” So while it was a yes to the proposal it also came to one of their most important moments of that day “Saying “I do” – to which I said, “Absolutely!” and Tyson saying “I will!” That’s what it was all about, wasn’t it?”….
Now, now they live on as a married couple, he her husband and she his wife… Together in one love which is really the most important piece to life. One love….. Together… “remembering to always begin and end the day with each other and love.” <– That pretty much says it all…
As for any tips or thoughts, from them to you….. When choosing a photographer, their thoughts “That we clicked and felt comfortable and that he/she was a true artist. We knew we’d get the token/standard wedding photos with anyone; we wanted to get some really fantastic and amazing photos that we could feel excited to display in our home.” From there, Any tips for future couples getting married??? “Choose TIM! And also… just remember why you’re doing it – because you love each other – and that’s also why everyone is there for you on your day – because they love you too – it’s a day of love, just enjoy and smile in knowing that.”
