Dogs have always been such a great part of my life. The joy and calmness they bring, the playfulness, the love. GOSH THEY LOVE!!!
So why not have the opportunity to give memories and awesome portraits of pups to the rest of their family.
The way I capture a dogs portrait is much like I would capture their humans counterpart. I don’t want to mold the dog into who he or she isn’t, instead I want to capture their essence. From the pup who’s an old soul, looking smack into the lens, to the pup that wants to fly through the air and maybe I capture the mouth open and their paw flying thru the shot. It’s about who your pup is, not who you want them to be.
All I really know is that I can’t go wrong if my career involves weddings and dogs….
I know, I know…. It’s about time I bring the dog portraits back into the world of TAB… After a few years of shooting primarily weddings, which I will obviously still do, I decided it was time to bring the dog portrait world back. After all, with an awesome studio space and a separate room being built just for the dog portraits, why not rock it out!
I guess I stopped doing many of the dog portraits because life got a bit rough and then I lost Penny. My cardigan welsh corgi. She was pretty much my “wingman”… Always by my side and being sure to always bring comfort. After losing her, it was a long road and then the decision came. That time when you realize that you’re not trying to replace a lost pup, but instead just bring new love and life in. So then came Banksy and Bleu. A few months apart in age, but both still puppies. They will surely have the first session in the new studio room once it’s all set. Anyway, having them in my life and taking shots of them when I have a camera at hand, I began missing the dog portrait side of things.
So here we are… A fresh beginning of the dog portrait world…
I limit the amount of dog portrait sessions I shoot each month to 4. I do this to make sure that each pup get’s the best session possible and I don’t want to rush any part of the process.
Studio Sessions start at $250.00 and cover the session fee itself ( we also offer in home lifestyle sessions for your furry family member too) . The best option is to shoot me an e-mail or give me a call so we can discuss what you’re hoping for, your pup and the goals of each session.
Our goal is to always create images you will want to blow up and plaster all over your house. (and your parents house… And your siblings house… And all your social media sites too. haha)
Give me a call to discuss what you’re hoping for:
